For those of you who get up in the morning and think what you wear doesn’t matter at all:
What we wear can affect not only what people think of us, but also the way our brains work, a study involving a doctor’s coat shows.
I love when PW followers recommend reads to me! Thank you!
I can’t wait to see this video. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a sucker for an inspiring TED talk. Thank you to my fellow writer and friend Jordan for introducing me to this wonderful platform that showcases great minds and unique thinkers. Behold the power of CROWDS
Dear Sam Edelman, Thank you for creating beautiful PW fashions! Without you, my closet would only contain 5 pairs of shoes.
Has a guy ever sent you a text that left you stumped? Waiting to respond but afraid to ruin the progress you’ve made over the last week? I have hired a “doctor of love”! Since she has helped me so much in my endeavors I want to spread the knowledge.
Send your questions to my e-mail: bandicootlouise@gmail.com with your desired pen name and I will post Q&A’s to the PW PROSE relaunch at the end of January!
As always followers, readers, and fans thanks for your support.

Someday PW Prose will be more than just re-posts of thought provoking finds from the blog-o-sphere, but until then…another find.
Proud to be a part of a generation of leaders not followers. Plus Portland happens to be the location inspiration for this piece!
Portland mentioned in this weeks NYT. Unfortunately, we made the news because we feel down and out about the Blazer season coming to a halt.
In N.B.A. cities that do not have N.F.L. or N.H.L. franchises, the basketball lockout is hurting businesses and fans.
I might need to go out for a bite at Spirit of ‘77 this week just for a little support!
Ah, the "Poor Woman". She isn’t necessarily lacking the equity to fund her fashion obsession she is simply savvy enough, creative enough, and confident enough to put her own spin on the latest Vogue runway looks. This mix of high-low has taken over the streets of Portland and beyond.
Obvious places to look for PW inspiration: Topshop, Zara, H&M, and Forever21. I plan to scour the less obvious. I’ll begin by seeking PW looks from stores in my Pearl District, Nob Hill, and E Hawthorne. I’ll look to the streets to check out where my fellow fashionistas are gathering their fabulous ensembles without diving into their 401K.
Welcome super chic chicks, fashion junkies, and other curious readers out there to my vision of PW!
